There is definitely a place for recovery drinks. To use them and which ones to use depends on the type of exercise and the type of training/racing schedule one follows. If you are trying to get your weight down, one needs to be carefull. On the other hand, with a high volume of activity, they can really speed recovery, for the next training session or race.
