Interested in being a training mentor?
I am new to road cycling this past summer. I recently purchased an indoor mag trainer to get me training through the winter. I want to begin racing next summer and maybe even think of triathlons ( sure I am setting my goals high, I know this). What I need is someone to spend a little time each week (less than an hour) instant messaging or emailing back and forth. I would like to get someone who has raced and who has been training for a while. I need somone to set me up on a biking/workout routine, diet plan, and an all around mentor that I can just ask questions ocasionally. I would say I am in fair shape but still developing muscle for biking so I would categorize myself as beginer. If anyone is interested in sharing some knowledge and setting me up on a training schedule that fits me please let me know. This would motivate me a lot just by having someone "coaching" me. After all, it is not the most thrilling thing riding in a stationary position as I am sure you know.
Thanks,
P.S. If anyone knows any helpful websites or books please inform me of them. I can take all I can get.

I would head over to www.usacycling.org and hire myself a coach. That is way too much work for someone to be calling you your pen pal. Seriously.
Good luck with your training.
