VO Max/LT/Max Hr testing in So Cal

I would like to have my arobic system checked professionally so I know my absolute numbers. Does anyone know of a place that will do the tests in the So Cal area?

UCLA medical center. I'm not sure if Moh Malek is still there, but I was able to get tested in one of his studies. They have the equipment, but check with them to see if they do general testing for the public (i.e. without a doc's referral).

Depends on how elaborate of a test you are looking for...do you want to just get a Conconi test or you are looking for blood lactate testing, too? Conconi probably would be cheaper since you don't need the lab tests but you need to test yourself two or three times in a year to get a good baseline. One, just before your hard training begins, one in the middle of hard training and one when you are at your peak fitness.
