Extended Daily Fasting

It seems that eating little meals throughout the day is the generally accepted practice. I've always wondered if this is the best way. Now here is a study on mice about daily fasting which more closely resembles the way I eat.

https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases...0517131703.htm

Most days I don't eat breakfast and lunch is around 230pm. Dinner is at 800pm and there's a snack in between. I do eat breakfast on the days that I ride.

If the above referenced study is supported by additional research, this may be the best way to eat.

Eating several times during the day just provide that many chances to overeat. You end up thinking about food way too often.

Do what works for you. For every "study" there is another one that argues the other side. "Scientists" that rely on grant money will find what ever they need to.

+1

I'm at the lightest weight I've been in over ten years, and I eat breakfast every single morning, often within an hour of waking up. Lunch by noon, and I also don't have dinner any later than 6-ish if I can help it.

So there.
