Going PRIMAL.

Anyone else familiar with "The Primal Blueprint"? I have been following the blog on and off for about a year and, while I'm not primal, I think it makes a lot of good sense.

One heartening part of the blog is that the man running it appears willing to actually CHANGE HIS MIND when solid and well conducted research refutes his data (which is not a common thing these days). Most notably, in the beginning he seemed to not mind beans / legumes, but later on he decided they were unappealing in the umbrella of "Primal".

Check it out at Mark's Daily Apple if you'd like.

M.

Haven't read the book, but their supplements are great. I regularly use Damage Control Master Formula and Prima Flora. At most i take a quarter of their recommended serving (half pack/three capsules) of the Damage Control Master Formula per day.

I really like some of his ideas and absolutely love Mark's blog. Not a big fan of the book though. I'd never recommend the Primal diet for serious cyclists as it's way too low on carbs. Paleo is strict enough, Primal is too strict if you ask me.

I've been on that kind of plan for three years now. Works great for me.
