I got a 1UP trainer from a friend and it didn't come with the manual. I set it up last night for the first time and couldn't figure out how to adjust the resistance. There seems to be a gap between the rotating disk and the fixed plate with the friction pad (see attached pic). So it's not providing any friction. I wonder if the pad has been worn out?
I would shift the gear to increase the resistance. The only problem is my bike is a fixie. Thanks.
