1 part Tonic water (very bubbly, from a freshly-opened bottle)

ice

serve with lime

great not-too-sweet post-ride thirst quencher!

(gin or vodka optional)

Gin and Tonic is my drink. I don't like beer, and I loose a lot of salts when I ride. Sounds like my perfect drink.

Sports drinks are have only moderate salt to start with, and tonic water has no sodium, so have some salt with that lime. Or take some formulated electrolite pills.
