Back from the painters !
Picked the bike up at the painters (Hot Tubes), and I'm now in the assemble process. Will have to wait till Monday for my bar tape to arrive, 4 different neon colors. I just hope I can blend in at the Tri's this year.

I've looked at frames shaped like that before but it wasn't a Zip brand. Was Zip the actual manufacturer?
Softride was what I was thinking about, found a picture of one and it's close but different.

Zipp made this bike, tri spoke and disc wheels in the beginning stages of the company before the bike got banned from UCI racing. The first version of the softride used the main frame of the zipp2001, because they collaborated together. Softride had a different beam design, which in the early stages had issues. Softride has changed the beam design several times. If you look for Dimond bikes you will see a modern day Zipp2001, because a Zipp engineer designed it. Beam bikes are now making a return to the market because of the Triathlon market.
