Aeros don't fit

A friend of mine gave me some Profile aero bars to put on my Felt F70 (for tri use). The handlebars get thicker at the center, so the bars don't fit. Is there a way to adapt them to the bike, or is it time to go shopping? I asked the same ? on the road bike forum, got only one response, and it was that I was s.o.l.

If they didn't come with adjustable clamps, you'll get the same answer. I would find a shop the sells them and does tri fits. Aerobars will change you setup. When I put them on my Zurich I eventually got a retro-fit. Best money I spent. I also ended up changing the stem and seatpost. But, the LeMonds are about as far from a TT bike as you can get.
