Easy spin ride ?

Just curious what parameters some of you use when heading out to do an "easy" spin ride ..... like after a real tough training day, or during a scheduled easy training day?

1. Do you stay in the middle ring on the front?
2. 100-110 rpm cadence?
3. typical speed?
4. ???

When i go for an easy ride, i make sure it is exactly that - easy.
What this translates to (cadence, speed, etc.) is very flexible.
I start off slow and just let my body tell me what is permissable.
Sometimes the result is a fairly brisk pace, others it's just a cruise to loosen up muscles.
These rides are also great to concentrate on riding form/pedal stroke efficiency and bike fit. When i'm not concentrating on a performance goal, i often take time to experiment with bike fit as well(saddle height, bar height/angle, saddle forward/back, etc).
Not suggesting that these are the best things to do, just what i usually do.

Mine are usually neighborhood exploration rides with my 6 year-old, i.e. I barely break a sweat.
