    It's pretty much final

Well I finished this season of Tris on an old bike that I pieced together only to realize how much I loved this sport. However, it wasn't like in the past where my love when hand in hand with being the best, I just love doing it, no matter what. So me and my fiance sat down and decided since I don't ride my roadie(once every month probably) if I sold that and my tri bike, I could get a new bike plus about $500 of what I thought I'd get for the other two. So I emailed the guy who created my road bike and decided to have him build my new frame, custom for around $600 with Zona tubing. Today I put in the final order for the parts and the tubing just arrived for him. So heres what it comes to, kind of a classic look with lots of silver components:

    Steel custom frame
    Ritchey pro fork
    Vision base and aeros
    Tektro brake calipers and levers
    American Classic Seatpost
Ultegra 6600 rear derailleur, cassette and chain
    Ritchey 110 WCS crank
    FSA compact Front deraiileur
    Hed Deep Rear
Spinergy Tilium front(I already have 750 miles on this wheel and love it)

I can't wait to have it now. It's going to be said to sell the old bike though after about 3000 miles on her.

Sounds like a nice bike. When's the blessed event (i.e, the arrival of the bike, not the wedding :-) ) ?

The tubing's arrival is followed by cutting. Cutting to TIG Welding to finishing to painting so Probably another month I'm guessing. It is being done by Allan Wanta, real nice guy, real solid frames. Its a shame I won't be able to work with him again for years.
