Transfering from swim to bike to run...

O.k., I'm training to do my first Tri (...a Sprint one, though) and was wondering about the changing and putting on of more clothes between events. I beleive we do the swim first, than bike, than run. Can anyone give info as to what to wear for swim, bike and run and when/how do we change clothes. Appreciate any info....

Male or female?
I (male) wear tri shorts - kinda a combo between bike shorts and jammers. At t1 I put on a sleeveless bike jersey and socks. At T2 I change into running shoes. No other changing of clothing. Wear the tri shorts throughout.

I wear tri shorts and a tri top(bottom-explained above, top-kinda like a tight fitting sleevless bike jersey.....both matching of course). For the swim I also wear a wetsuit(depends on if the race is wesuit legal or not, in canada all of them are).

For the bike all I do is take off my wesuit, put on my helmet, and go(I mount my bike with no shoes on, because they are already on my bike). For the run, all I do is take off my helmet, put on my running shoes, and put on a vidor/hat, whatever I have for the day.

Awesome info, thanks...mounting the shoes on bike, huh???? I'll have to def. practice, but what a time saver. I really want to be competitive in this one. I run 3 miles pretty regularly (for my job, military) and think the bike will be my strong event, gotta work on the swim. Your info is most appreciated, I'll look into the tri-shorts. Thanks again.
