Issues with new wetsuit

So I've just got a new wetsuit - the first brand new one I've ever worn - a Foor Quantum2.

Two things I'm having an issue with.

It was really snug around my neck - somewhat uncomfortably so, but I was able to swim along just fine... except apparently my face turned purplish by the end of the set - or so I was told. Not good, though I felt ok.

It seemed to arch my back - as if it wasn't so stretchy through the back as the front, so well along into the set, my back was a bit sore and it felt like I was swimming along with my tummy out.

Now these just might be because I've never worn a wetsuit for as long as I did last night (1800m, plus some faffing about before hand)...

And other than those two issues, the suit fit quite well.

Any thoughts??? It's sort of a non-problem really, as I don't have any real reason to spend an hour and a half in a wetsuit - it was just new so I figured I'd try doing my entire workout with it on.

maybe too small of a size? each manufactures small, medium, large. etc are not the same. maybe you have a larger torso vs legs? Did you buy it from the internet or were you fitted in a tri/running store?

Maybe I just have a wide neck - everything else is golden with the fit. I tried on different suits from the same company that people in my club had.

Sounds like a dose of newsuititis. I had a couple of Foor Q1's last season and it took maybe half a dozen trips out for me and it to get into a happy balance.

Yup. Just rinse it all off when you get home.
