QR's UltraJohn is always a good choice and is reasonably priced. Nytro is also a good company to deal with. I actually live in New England but stopped into the store in San Diego some years ago. You might find it cheaper elsewhere though. Here's the link:

Do you need one when it's that warm? Remeber, USAT does not allow wet suits above a certain temp. which may be why you said up to 78 degrees, but is 74 that much colder? (I'm seriously asking that, not being smarmy or anything, I'm just a bad judge of temp).

Also, for what it's worth, I got a cheap wetsuit online (like 100 bucks) and it works great, I can move just fine in it, it's warm, etc. Personally, I'd rather go cheaper on the wetsuit and add more to my bike, but then again, I HATE the swim part (read: I SUCK AT the swim).

Wetsuits: Each age group participant shall be permitted to wear a wetsuit without penalty in any event sanctioned by USAT up to and including a water temperature of 78 degrees Fahrenheit. When the water temperature is greater than 78 degrees but less than 84 degrees Fahrenheit, age group participants may wear a wetsuit at their own discretion, provided, however that participants who wear wetsuits within such temperature range shall not be eligible for prizes or awards. Above 84 degrees, wetsuits are prohibited.
