Stickin it to those Roadies...
So I decided to do the Provincial(like state, but in Canada) TT championships. My registration got messed up and I was slotted into the elite race. I still managed to get a respectable 13th out of about 40 people. With a time of 1:00:47 over a slightly hilly, super windy 41km course. I am somewhat happy being as this is the first time I have ever done a real road race.
Here is me waiting to go.
Here I am starting, apparently I was the only one to hammer out from the start. Maby thats why I had passed 2 people within the first mile and a half(we started a minute apart).

Na, just a guy counting you down from 5. It was fun doing a standing start. I race a weekly time trial that is about 95% triathletes, and you just have one foot down then go. Here they had a guy holding you up. It was a fun experiance. Hard race, but fun.
