Did my first sprint tri today....
Did the Kirkland Triathlon today...First one, and I had a blast! I finished in the top half...Top 15% in swimming which was my strongest area...I was also happy with my run as I was never a big runner, but my bike section could have been a little better. I wish I would have pushed a little harder.
The toughest thing for me was the T1 transition as I got pretty dizzy when I stopped and bent down to pickup my bike shoes so that transition was pretty slow...Oh well...Something to work from.

Way to go!
Getting through your first one and experiencing everthing from pacing to transitions will help in races to come.
PS. Their will always be something to work on. Part of what makes it addictive.

Thanks TriBob -
I'm definitely addicted and plan to do many more. My goal for next year is to do an Olympic.

Hey Teski -- way to go on doing it! I was just wondering how much and what you did to train for it. Were you in pretty good shape to begin with? I'm looking to do my first and I was just looking for some advice.
