USAT wetsuits sale through Active.com

USAT and Active.com have a wetsuit sale going on. 30% off USAT wetsuits

I know NOTHING about wetsuits. are these decent?

Also, do full sleeve suits become a burden in warmer weather conditions? the lake in the Chicago tri last year was, imo, pretty damn cold (August) so, I want a full sleeve suit. Any reason not to? (I am not really concerned with range of motion in the shoulder area, though I have never put a suit on...)

thanks all...

Not sure if those particular wetsuits are any good. I suspect they are. Most people with full-sleeve suits have no complaints about range of motion. Tri-wetsuit manufacturers have done a lot with their designs over the years.

But the question remains, are these USAT wetsuits any good? How do they compare to other major brands?

I've never heard of the brand. But then with a name like that, I bet they don't market them o'er here.

(like when America Online realised that a brand name like that wouldn't fly so well outside America)

And you should be concerned about shoulder motion. It's rather important when swimming!

True, but I'm not interested in that as much as other factors such as will the suit explode in fresh water but not salt...you know, really important stuff.

Seriously, I'm looking for an answer to its durability, other factors aside. (my swim times suck; I want a suit simply to conserve energy for the other two legs.)
