leg/glute pain

Glute/Hammy pain Tightness.
I just completed a short intense race, I have a real issue with the back of my leggs. I was wondering if it is due to a position issue. anyideas??

Try going out for an easy spin (or put your bike on the trainer or rollers for 20-30 minutes. If it still hurts, stop and do the same thing again tomorrow. If it STILL hurts, then yeah it might be a position thing. But I suspect that the pain will subside through either active recovery or rest, as usually position issues surface while on the bike (and not afterwards, unless you have a cleat position problem).

Don't you think it is merely a muscular strain because of your intense race. As they all say, listen to your body...it might need some recuperating. I myself usually fail to "REST"
