question for those who switch between road and tri bikes
How important is it for a rider who switches back and forth between a road bike AND a tri bike (both properly fit to that rider) to ride bikes from the same manufacturer?
Is there any problem with switching between a Scott CR1 Pro road bike and a Cervélo P2C tri bike?
Or should I get a Scott Plasma tri bike to match the Scott CR1 road bike, or alternatively, get a Cervélo R3 road bike to match the Cervélo P2C tri bike?

The manufacturer doesn't matter...just have both bikes fit properly...preferably during the same visit by the same person.

I agree with CJ. I ride a Trek E7 TT and a Giant TCR road bike (well, mostly. I also have a Trek 1500 I use here and there). No problems to date.
