Ironman Research

Dear Ironman athletes,
I want to wish you the best of luck on race day and hope that you all meet the goals that you set for yourselves. I would also like to request that you fill out my anonymous survey (10 questions). The survey is connected to my project of trying to identify the motivation(s) of Ironman triathletes and will serve to add weight to the responses I received from my interviewees. My research will culminate in a final thesis, in which I will also include my own reasons for becoming an Ironman.

The survey can be found here: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?s...xX5bs37g_3d_3d

Should you also be interested in an interview, feel free to contact me by email and I will send you more details. Interviews are conducted at Rutgers University or at a reasonable distance from either Rutgers or NYC. The interview will not last longer than an hour and there is a $30 incentive to participate.

Best regards,
Vlad Radulescu

Done. I get to NYC about six times per year...my next trip is in early March. Happy to try to make an hour for the interview if you still need people by then.

You might just make it. I plan on completing the actual writing mid-march. Email me at vlara123@gmail.com.

Also, a second survey is in the works and will be posted by the end of the week.

Results will be shared with participants. I have not yet decided how I will do this.

Best,
Vlad

Vlad, wondering why not use your rutgers.edu mail?

It's easier for me to have a project specific email. If you need any further info, you have my non-Rutgers email : )

Just realized you're probably looking for confirmation of my affiliation? If that's it, not a problem, how do I attach documents?

I'm not sure it's a big deal...I took the survey and it didn't ask for any personal info.

It is completely anonymous and does not ask for sensitive information.

Thank you again to those who contributed to my first survey! The second is based on those responses. I hope that everyone is training hard and staying healthy!
