Dent in side of Jet 9
I have a Jet 9 clincher I just got. It has a very minor, barely noticeable dent in the side. Almost as if someone gripped it too hard while mounting the tires. Anyone have any experience in this? I emailed HED and I am awaiting an answer.

Here is a pic, some may say this is just something minor, but these are deep aero wheels so obviously this will effect things.

The Jets carbon section is just a fairing and not structural. Possible with the tire off to gentle pressure the spot outwards again (somehow through the spoke holes in the rim)? I'd wait to hear from Hed who are usually very quick with tech help before doing so just in case...

Called HED and got an answer. Tire pressure it too high and is deforming the rim ever so slightly. Since the HED rims are 23mm wide you can run tire pressure at 95psi and get the same effects of higher pressures but at a much more comfortable ride. Basically "lower your tire pressure".

well it was worth a try. I'm scoruing the Intraweb for a decent wheel, spinergy is the only thing I can afford and I refuse after seeing the wheels exploding reports.
Good thing you found the problem. Thats an easy fix!
