I am looking at doing some brevets towards the end of the year and I am looking at starting to train for them. I normally have to wait till the evenings to do my workouts so I am kinda limited on what I can do.
The work out schedule I am planning on doing now since the water has warmed up enough in the river to start swimming regularly (no pools in the town I live).
Monday- swim with ride to river and maybe some additional miles afterwards
Tuesday - track run
Wednesday - Group ride
Thursday - Swim
Friday- Cross Country track run
Saturday- Long ride/Group ride
Sunday - ?
What kind of LDC workouts does one do to complete the Ironman distance ride?
