Questions about a Guru Magis

I'm new to Tri's, only a sprint & HIM under my belt. I'm an avid road cyclist, and did both races on my Madone. I was passed by very few road bikes, but countless Tri bikes. I may be able to get a good dead on a lightly used Guru Magis.

I know nothing about this bike, and would appreciate any input on how this particular bike could help me.
I haven't looked at it yet, but it sounds really nice.
I'd like to get a tri-bike, but I don't want to pay $3000-$4000 for a new one, especially since road cycling is my preferred way of riding.

I'm planning on one or two more HIM's & one full IM. Yeah, I'm sure that I'll stop at that.

Thanks,

(I have a similar post in the roadie forum, I hope that I'm not breaking any rules)
