good for you though. no pool during the winter? when I was pool training I had a work buddy who did the same and we would joke about how absurdly we s*cked when starting out. guess that's where the training comes in. are they new goggles? or tried and true?

The goggles are old and one of 5 pairs I just grabed the first ones I saw.......I have been lifting all winter so I am tight I plan to swim again this weekend I live in a lake community so access is easy. I usually do the 1/2 mile swim in 20 mins give or take.....I just survive. I ride strong and run poorly but beat most so good enough. No pools for me.......

Best of luck with your event. Everything will gel and you should swim like a fish.

I got in County Pool for 1300 yards yesterday and even though I'm hurting a bit, it is still a good thing.
