Questions about Polar s625x
I've had this thing for about 6 months. About a 2 weeks ago, it started giving me strange readings - HR=45 in cycling mode with 46mph and 98rpm - obviously not happening!! The HR cuts off for long periods if not the whole ride. When the HR doesn't work the speed and cadence will work, but occasionally report odd results. When using the run mode, it seems to work fine. I've just replaced the batteries in the cadence and speed sensors along with the HR chest strap. I don't think its electrical interference b/c I ride the same couple of routes all the time and only recently have had problems.
Has anyone else had similar problems? Could it be the battery in the watch (6 months into a 2 year battery)? Any solutions to changing those batteries other than sending to Polar? Any help is much appreciated. I spent too much $$$ on this thing to get something else!

How about disabling everything but the HRM and testing it out and see how it acts. Assuming it works properly enable speed and test again, finally enable cadence and see what happens. I'm sorry to hear about your troubles. I recently picked up a 646SX but didn't get the optional cycling stuff.
