Bike touring routes

Hey all,
I'm leaving for a month of touring in Scotland and I'm searching everywhere for a decent map with bike routes OR a book?
Anyone on these forums can suggest a site or book for a 1st timer?
BTW anyone heading in that direction for August wanna communicate?

bike shops with a touring bias who still make their own bikes too
http://www.condorcycles.com/ - BEST in London
http://www.sjscycles.com/forum/ - very good reputation

Online shop
http://www.wiggle.co.uk/default.aspx - no complaints from me

Accomodation
http://www.yha.org.uk/ - check on bike facilities in advance though

Books - check the CTC shop

Shops to never ever set foot in (You have been warned)

Condor Cycles - quite possibly the best bike shop in London
Don't run red lights, wear a helmet, use hand signals, get some cycle lights(front and rear) and, FFS, don't run red lights!
