Ride round Richmond Park today - I emplore you

edit: title should read implore - my typing error!

Basically, unless you have a really good excuse (or you live more than, say, 50 miles from the park) you should ride to and round it today.

It is beautiful. There's no wind, there is a thick dusting of frost everywhere, it's fairly quiet in terms of traffic and there are no icy patches as far as I could see. I just spent the last few hours in there training and, granted, it's a bit nippy (-2 degs according to my Vetta) but well worth the pain. In all honesty, I'm typing this while my feet and hands warm up sufficiently that I may have a shower without them burning, but I would go out again if I could (albeit with a camera).

That is all. Apologies to those who do not live close enough to experience this today

Goddammit broken wrist. Richmond park is beautiful this time of year.

I wonder if your vetta was overestimating. Heathrow never got above -3 yesterday, and Richmond Park is usually colder than the surrounding country side.

Maybe, my warm hands weren't that far away from it. It felt really cold.

Just got back from the park now. It's another good day to be out.

Sorry about your broken wrist - mend soon

Sounds nice although the following might be better for next year/day/trip

Don't run red lights, wear a helmet, use hand signals, get some cycle lights(front and rear) and, FFS, don't run red lights!

Mmm, tasty!

Some of the best pictures (tv spot while channel surfing) I've seen of pictures were taken by David LaChapelle on a location scout with a disposable. The end result could best be described as "you took those, with that, and they came out looking that good, un..frikkin...believable!"

Undoubtedly it's the eye that makes the photo. I was just making the point that when you have an EOS, you don't rush to buy a disposable every time you need a bit of convenience sizing!

Oddly enough, I asked the GF to lend me her camera (Lumix) so I could video some of the ride but the battery was dead.
