Anyone doing the "Skyride" (aka the Freewheel)?
Not sure if anyone has done this before but this year's Skyride is the same as previous years' London Freewheel.
However, there are now more locations around the country.
Info here: https://new.britishcycling.org.uk/skyride
I will be doing the London one again, likely as a marshall as I really enjoyed it last year. Get signed up and support this event - it has really boosted cycling in London since its inception and that can only be a good thing in terms of safer riding for everyone.

Awesome, where are you riding in from (i.e. hub / area of London where you live)? I'm likely doing it from Wandsworth via Clapham Common.

We will be coming in from south east london, Dulwich. Not sure about where the different skyride hubs are.
Really looking forward to it!
now we both have bikes we fully intend to make the most of them and ride them around as much as possible!

Bit of a reminder about the Skyride this weekend. It's on Sunday and hopefully the weather will hold up as it has in previous years.
Hope to see some BFers there.

Hey guys - good to see some more of you attended this. What did you think of the event?
I had an awesome time marshalling and meeting up with some people. Tbh it was just great to stand around and look at the huge variety of cyclists. Got some good pictures of very weird looking bikes. Best I saw was the guy whos bike was basically a drum kit. Minor annoyance of the day: the people shouting in the megaphones "woop woop" and "you guys are really sending out a message"
