I Need to know about fixie cycling in London

Hi there guys,

I'm a U.S citizen wondering about the practicality of riding fixies and single speeds in London.

I'd appreciate it if you'd answer the following questions for me:

1) Is the London terrain appropriate for fixies and single speeds?

2) Is London mostly flat or not?

3) How popular are fixies and single speeds in London?

Thank you!

Bit late with the answer, yes loads ride single and fixed in London. More so in central, I have seen fixed/single as far out as Crystal Palace bit hilly to my mind but if your fit you should be ok.
