Lightbulb My New Stainless Steel rear Rack

I could not find a heavy duty rack that went around the disc brake and still left room for B.O.B. trailer axle mounts, and put most of the weight directly onto the axles (bolts bend). So I had to build it my self.

I had to buy an extra long axle for the legs to fit onto.

I bolted the feet onto the drop-outs so that the legs would not spread apart and make it incredibly hard to replace the wheel every time I had to remove it.

This rack could hold a full sized adult, but the wheel would brake spokes like the last time I tried that little feat. Now I will have to build a stronger rear wheel, and think about stronger bearings.

I wasted so much money on burning out drill bits that I will have to wait to polish it.

When drilling stainless, cobalt bits at a slower speed and lots oil will help

I just recently acquired a bob ibex. For 30 years I wanted one, it was the best thing since sliced bread, I thought. I gave it a real high bar to start. Well, it's non of that. It managed to push the axle enough to disconnect. Big loads / heavy are not for the bob. Carefull how far you push that. All the force is forward and down ( maybe 1 unseen pothole)
