Kona Ute kickstand upgrade options?

I have a Kona Ute 2012 that I'm setting up as a kid carrier.

But the stock kickstand is flimsy. The 29er tires and Yepp Maxi seats put weight very high up, and I am sure the bike will topple over if left standing on its own.

Does anybody have recommendations on a kickstand upgrade?

I am looking at:

* Pletscher Esge double kickstand
* Hebie 0608 Heavy Duty Twin Leg
* Velo Orange Porteur Double Kickstand

Mostly looking for input from someone who owns a semi-modern Ute or Minute

I've also come across a more heavy-duty option Ursus Jumbo double leg kickstand

This looks like the one (on the left)

The Ursus Jumbo is awesome! I don't have it on a Ute, but I do have one on my mixte that I use as a kid carrier. My only complaint about it is that it is fairly tall and will no doubt lift your front wheel off the ground, but it is extremely stable even when one wheel is off the ground. You might call Clever Cycles in Portland and ask if there is a particular kickstand they would recommend for the Ute. They sell a lot of cargo bikes and both Hebie and Ursus Jumbo kickstands. But while I recommend consulting them for advice, if you haven't yet bought the Yepp Maxi seat, I suggest getting both the kickstand and the Yepp Maxi seat from Holland Bike Shop. While the shipping cost is high, the discount on the seat and kickstand (they sell both Hebie and Ursus kickstands) more than makes up the shipping cost.

Thanks a lot for the feedback. I think the Ute stays are pretty high. nearly horizontal. The kickstand on it now is very long.

I just measured the Ute kickstand. It is about 12". The largest Ursus Jumbo kickstand is 11.8" - I'm going to give it a try. The stock kickstand on the Ute picks the front-end up a bit so there is room for some discrepancy

I have the Ursus Jumbo in my Kona MinUte and it's great. Very very safe. I usually carry 1 or 2 kids plus groceries, etc.

I have one of these on my Big Dummy and it's great. It's definitely pricey for a kickstand, but it's tremendously strong, made in the U.S., and has a remote actuator lever that really comes in handy, especially when you have a heavy load on the bike. It took me a while to take the plunge and talk myself into it but I've never had any regrets. It has a stance of 13 1/2" - 14 1/2".

Rolling Jackass

Edit: Upon a second read, a Kona Ute version is on the way but not available yet. Oops!

So I got the Jumbo stand and got to test it out

It worked fine with the standard 29"x 35c wheel Ute setup. The stock kickstand had a metal spacer (about 1") included that had the front wheel a correct ~2" off of the ground

I decided to put 26"x2" tired on the bike. Removing the spacer for the Jumbo kickstand. The front wheel is ~1.75 inches off of the ground and the stand is working
