Building a Custom Commuter Trike: Where can I buy a Cover?
I've been winter commuting on my electrically assisted delta trike. I've decided to sell it and have a tadpole frame built to my specs. I need to buy an aerodynamic cover or cowling for the trike. I have seen these (mostly in Europe, and mostly as part of an expensive pedicab), but don't know where to source them close to Toronto. Any ideas?

Well it sounds like you are planning a recumbent trike.... so an outstanding source of recumbent information can be found at www.bentrideronline.com
Visit their forum, they have a trike group and possibly even a builder's forum.
You could also search/post to the hpv (human powered vehicle) group at:
https://search.bikelist.org/
They almost certainly will helpful opinions/experiences.

They sell velomobiles in the USA so I'm not sure how much help that is to you as a Canadian. (Maybe you could have them ship to a nearby friend in the USA and transport or ride the bike to Canada yourself.) They also don't list the fairing as something you can buy separately from the tadpole trike, although you may be able to talk them into it.
More velomobile info:

Another suggestion: if you haven't already gotten yourself a tadpole trike, it's likely to be easier to get a full velomobile than a full body you can attach to a trike that wasn't originally intended as a velomobile.
If it's just a front windshield you want, you can buy those. Google "zzipper fairing" and "mueller fairing" and I think you'll find the main north-american makers.
