OK, I'm Stoked!
Maybe I shouldn't be that excited, but on Steve Rex's website, there are 3 photos of my townie!! Here they are...
Mine is the big black one - damn I love that bike! The red townie belongs to my buddy Mike, who got me hooked on Steve's customs. Pics were taken at last year's Ride Your Rex event to support the American River Parkway Foundation here in Sactown... Next ride is June 11th if anyone is interested, and here is the link to Steve's website: Rex Cycles

Very nice. Steve is a great guy and builds a very nice bike. I'll be at the June ride as well. I'll look for you.

I 've been living in Sato for a few years now. I strolled into Steve's shop on a lark one day.
He had a light blue steel road frame that was simply stunning. I was in lust.

Cool. Any pics of it by itself? Kinda hard to see there. I'm always interested in town style bikes. Is it a nexus hub?

My neck and hands feel better just looking at that picture. Looks really comfy. I like the upright seating position. Lots of beautiful things to see in the world and it just seems more difficult to enjoy them when you are all hunched over the bars staring at the ground about 10 feet in front of yourself on a dropbar bike. No offense to the roadies out there. Just my personal preference. Been thinking of a nexus 8 build myself. Would like to try the disc brake adaptors like on the UK model cannondales (badboy nexus headshock). Although just a coasterbrake on the year would really look clean. For sure you will enjoy that bike a long time. I'll check out rex's site.
