My friends actually think I'm a little insane because I actually like being the engine and hauling as much as possible...works out okay because they like to be pulled and carried!...

No I don't have any issues with the efficiency of a Rohloff. I do love how strong the dishless Rohloff wheel is and how convenient it is to be able to change gears at a stop when you have a passenger and are towing someone...

Nice pic! By the way, just in case I ever spot you in person, I should warn you that I may possibly get overly geeky and come running over to pepper you with bike questions. I'm not a psycho, I swear, just a bike-obsessed girl with poor social skills
(I feel the need to give advance disclaimers like this because I scared some poor guy at the bike co-op last week. He was smiling a little desperately and edging away by the time I realized I'd kinda failed on the "inside voice" thing... oops... he had a really cool vintage Raleigh though).
