In whatever way. Maybe you're a courier - that's the obvious one - or perhaps you work in some other field but use a bike or trailer to carry your tools and equipment?

What do you carry, what bike/trailer do you use? Tell us about it.

I'm not sure if this counts or not as using my bike and trailer commercially, but recently I have been undertaking the local collection errands for Cargo Cycles ltd: B&Q on the ring road for 30 litres of paint, Wensum Welding on Heigham street for 15 kgs of Mig welding wire, Machinemart on Heigham Street for some power tools, Cromwell's on Sweet Briar Ind est for 20 litres of Saw coolant, and just around the corner to the little shop on Bowthorpe road for; Scotch eggs, Pasties & Pies, tea bags, sugar and the milk.

I also build custom utility cycles and use most of my bikes for work. Last week, my longtail went to the welding shop for wire and gas refill. The week before that, hauled 3 sheets of Coroplast (4'x8') on the same long tail. On Wed, the tilting trike hauled my toolbox to the local arts collective for a bike kitchen. Tomorrow, I'll probably take my junk 'bent to the LBS for wheels on a trailer I'm building for somebody. And this Tuesday, I'm meeting some people who want to organize a small pedal powered concert in one of the local parks.

And to top it off, at least two of my machines have been sold to people who are using them commercially. The big longtail carries up to 12 plastic tubs for organic vegetable delivery and one trailer has 48 sq. ft. of signage on it being towed around town.

:)ensen.

A guy named Ian in Louisville KY sells soup (in 16oz and 32oz containers, cold) from a cooler on a trailer hauled by a Surly Big Dummy. He is on Facebook as "soupbycycle" and I beleive he plans to have a website up soon....maybe soupbycycle.com

I use my Xtra and sometimes my Bikes At Work trailer to haul goods and tools to jobsites for remodeling and handyman jobs. The BAW trailer is great for hauling the tablesaw, compressor, nail guns, etc.
