What do you carry on your rear racks?
I've seen a lot of pictures of hauls and bikes on this forum, but few where anyone hauls anything on the rear rack (besides panniers and dairy crates), upload pictures of whatever you haul on the rear rack.

In most cases the rear rack is the only way to attach equipment to haul anything since by itself the rack has very limited uses.

Yeah, a regular rack (not Xtracycle or Mundo deck) in itself can't really carry anything. You need bags, panniers, crates or at least some cargo net to actually carry anything. I attached a set of wheels once to the bare rack with bungee cords and carried some flattened boxes and bubble wrap on the top of the rack, but they were slipping and I had to fix them every few blocks.

I've carried diapers, 3 x 1 gallon jugs of water in box, a bicycle wheel, and a bike repair stand all home on a standard size rear rack. Bungees are my friend!

I do not have pictures, but I did carry 2 desktop computers from the thrift store about a month ago on the rear rack. Talk about looks. Not everyday you see a cyclist with a load like that on the rack. I used every bungee cord I had and even used my Geargrip case straps to ensure that the computers would go nowhere!
And yes Bungees are my friend as well. (but my panniers are a close second)

No pics, but I carry pizzas on my rack. The best pizzeria around doesn't deliver.
TIP: Exercise caution cornering with double-cheese, double-pepperoni. The extra grease makes the toppings slide.

Haha, no. Just between you and me, because I don't want to hijack the thread, I posted this picture in a thread about cats killing birds and I titled it "Jackson likes birds."
I got a couple of private messages from moderators explaining why my post was removed. I replied to one of them with a reasonable explanation and to the other I replied "It's not dead, it's resting." from the Monty Python sketch. Then I replaced the removed post with this picture under the same title "Jackson likes birds."
After that I was banned. I can't even view the site now! And I though Bikeforum moderators were heavy handed!
