madsen kid transporter

i saw this used bike at rei in denver. fo'teen hunda dollah. name is madsen, probably danish.
there are straps in the 'tub' and 2 small kids sit facing each other.
probably a bear to work on the rear tire/brake, etc.

It ain't Danish, the guy who makes 'em lives in Utah. There should be 4 seat belts, not just 2, enough for 4 little heineys. You can buy these new for $1600 (plus shipping). You can remove the cargo bucket easily, you just need the right Allen wrench!

The Madsen has been my primary vehicle for a while now! I sing it's praises every chance I get! It'll haul groceries, laundry, dogs, and even drunk relatives (tmi).

the straps were piled on the floor. looks pretty narrow for four! as for danish, madsen is a danish name, and all i saw was a decal on the steering post, no point of origin.
