Panniers: Where can I get these?

    Screen Shot 2013-10-11 at 11.14.24 AM.jpg

These red panniers look practical. Anyone know where I could find a similar pair? Thanks.

Those look like the Basil Basonyl or a similar model. Clever Cycles in Portland, OR sells a similar set.

FWIW I order from both places regularly. With Clever Cycles it is probably better to call them and ask what they have. With Dutch Bike Bits I order directly from the website. The shipping is a bit steep, but I usually place a large enough order that the savings more than offset the shipping premium.

I have the Basil Basonyl panniers. I don't love them. They are always in the "full volume" position, you can't separate them from each other, and it's awkward to remove or install them.

I expect it's part of the frame... hire the services of a frame-builder..

I have Basil Kavan II which are similar to the Basonyl, I actually prefer the saddle bag style for city riding versus the two separate that I use for touring.

Soma makes a similar style rack but without the raised portion on the front.
