Updated pic of my Le Tour
This could belong in the Vintage forum but since I'm primarily showing off utility usage, I figured I'd post this here. I just swapped the seat out so it might need proper tilting for riding comfort, I just got it as close as I could based on sitting on it here indoors.

well, i like it!
a step through is good for when you have the rack piled high.
been kinda wishing i had a mixte (i know your bike isn't one) for serious grocery shopping.

When I stayed 2 months in Benson AZ (with my motorhome) back in November and December, I used that bike (then, a cheap mountain bike when this one kept getting flats) with the panniers for grocery shopping. They hold a LOT of stuff and don't cost very much... about $30. They are rain/water resistant.

Like it. I traded the drops for higher bars and an extended stem so I could sit up straighter on mine. I am more committed to the mixte configuration as I get older and 'tired' of throwing my leg at the stars every time I get on a bike. I am wondering how much stronger the solid tube is compared to the slender pair on 'true' mixte frames. Keep posting. thanks.

I haven't ridden it an inch since the pic... but, it tends to be rainy a lot (not that I'm complaining) and I need the fenders still to control the water spray. Also, I need to get a good floor pump. I was using a 12V air compressor with my motorhome when I was riding it a lot on the road. I have a portable emergency one which is ok as a last resort but not so good for getting high pressure into the tubes.
