DIY - Trek Transport foot guards for little ones

Picked my daughter up from preschool and had a close call with a foot in the spokes on the way home. I'd been meaning to work out a solution for this, but today's near miss lit a fire under the idea. Simple, some corrugated plastic and a utility knife.

Home Depot and Lowes typically carry the corrugated stuff, FYI.

Good solution. Cute family you have there.
