I am a VC advocate & I am OK
I am a VC advocate & I am OK
I sleep all night & I ride all day
I cut down bike lanes, I eat my lunch
I go to the lavatory
On Wednesdays I go shopping
With my Toyota Prius, wife and kids
I am a VC advocate & I am OK
I sleep all night & I ride all day
I cut down bike lanes, I skip & jump
I like to ride in 50mph traffic
I put on silly clothing
And hang around in bars
I am a VC advocate & I am OK
I sleep all night & I ride all day
I cut down bike lanes, I wear funny shoes
Suspenders & a helmet
I wish I could be a big Mack truck
Just so I can get some respect
With apologies to Monty Python

VC advocate must not wear a helmet. I have never seen a car driver in a helmet.

does this mean all extreme VCers might be cross-dressers? not that there's anything wrong with that.

An example of VC Advocacy's scientific approach and logical reasoning?

I nominate HH as Sir Bedamere and JF as King Arthur
(start around the 1:25 min mark if you don't want to watch the whole thing)

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Another example?

This could actually apply to either extreme end of the argument though.

Actually, as a vehicular cyclist, I'd think the appropriate Monty Python sketch for the anti-VC crowd might be "Brave Sir Robin".

I'm a little teapot, short and stout
Here's my handle, here's my spout
When I get a steam up, I will shout
Tip me over and pour me out
-----
I'm as free as a breeze
And I ride where I please
Saddle tramp, Saddle tramp

Bravely bold Sir Robin rode forth from Camelot.
He was not afraid to die, O brave Sir Robin.
He was not at all afraid to be killed in nasty ways,
Brave, brave, brave, brave Sir Robin!
…
Bravely he took the MUP, when traffic got too much

EVERYONE sing now:
Every lane is sacred.
Every lane is good.
Every lane is needed
In your neighbourhood.
Every lane is sacred.
Every lane is great.
If a lane's not painted,
God gets quite irate!

Right, that's it. I've warned you before. This thread is getting seriously silly and it has to stop.
Actually, the proposal for VC begins take on less credibility than this idea:
