WTB: Nitto M12 Front Rack
You know... the kind that attaches to the cantilever brake studs and the hole drilled through the fork crown.
If you're not familiar with it, here's a good introduction.
The fork blades on my 1990 Bianchi Volpe don't have braze-ons, so the brake-stud/fork-crown method is the only sturdy one. Yes, I know that the Nitto M18 can be mounted using "P"-clamps, but that's not what I want. Neither are the offerings from Rivendell, VO, or Compass -- those are for the 1% who make enough to spend $80-$145, not me. But I am open to suggestions.
Happy Holidays!

JB -- I have a Nitto M12 front rack with a matching Rivendell Lil' Loafer front bag that I might consider selling. The rack attaches to cantilever brake posts and the fork crown and is fully chromed. The Rivendell Loafer is one of the few bags specifically designed to fit the Nitto front rack, and it's khaki green with leather trim. I've had the rack for a while on my touring bike but removed it when I installed a dynamo wheel and light on the bike.
I'll have to think about a price. I am certain that the combo would sell very easily on eBay.
