WTB: Bridgestone XO frame or bike 20.5

My trusty early-90's Bridgestone XO frame died on me last year on the Cowichan Valley Trail and is un-reparable so I am looking for a new one. I am not a collector or looking for anything pristine; just looking to replace my frame and be able to keep my wheels and components to re-create my beauty that served me all these years touring and commuting in a budget-conscious way.

If anyone can steer me toward a 20.5 XO 1,2 or 3 frame or bike I would be truly appreciative.

Happy BTW; to share any information on cycling or touring in the NW, San Juan Islands, Olympic Peninsula, etc

Those can be tough to find. Not a lot of them were made and they have become collectible esp. for the upper end XOs. For an inexpensive commuter, I'd look at a vintage mtb. They're out there and pretty inexpensive. For a rider, there is some retro love going on in companies like Surly, Soma, and Velo-orange to name a few. They make some great frames that take fat tires.

Good luck finding an XO in your size but don't rule out alternatives.

Thanks Bikemig. Of the Surly frames, which do you think would be closest to my old Bridgestone frame?
