Is anyone here planning to ride the Tour de l'Alberta?

I hadn't been, but then I hadn't heard about it either.

Could be persuaded.

As mentioned elsewhere, I just have to figure out how to get self & bike up there...

One of the summer student workers here just got his first road bike and is all fired up about the idea of the Petit Tour.

I registered for the big C on a lark. I road lots up to 7 years ago and recently put my Allez back on the road when gas hit $1.20/L in May.

I've trained since early July by watching the TDF and having the odd Corona.

Anyway, I would give almost anything to know where I put my Avocet computer and Speedplay pedals.

If you bump into or pass a guy in black on a specialized rig with downtube shifters, that is probably me.

For those riding tomorrow, good luck, may the legs be strong, the road smooth and the wind at our back.
