Good road rides near Invermere?

Hey folks, I'm planning to be in the Invermere area later this month and hoping to do some road riding. Any recommendations for a good ride?

I was thinking about going up Toby Creek Road to the ski hill but last time I was up that way the road was in pretty bad shape. Your recommendations greatly appreciated.

No takers, eh? Maybe if I asked for good mountain bike trails.

I would just hit the main highways, All the Calgarians that own the valley are pretty nice to highway cyclists, they're only dicks in-city.

This is factual.
Main highways have good shoulders; So you should be good-to-go.
My Dad is one of those "Albertan owners"; he owns a time-share in Fairmont Hot Spring.
I have cycled the circular route that follows highway 93/95 to Invermere, and then back along the old highway (don't know the number) which is on the west side of Lake Windermere (opposite side of the lake to highway 93/95).
This takes me back to Fairmont
The old highway has little to no shoulders; and I don't recommend riding it at night; but during the day it's fine.

The road between Invermere and Golden is gorgeous. And not too difficult either. For more of a challenge, do Hwy 93 out of Radium to Castle Junction. Also a lovely road, but it is more hilly than the one to Golden.

This is a great idea.
The second part is also good for those looking for a greater physical challenge.
