Whistler Gran Fondo, September 11.
Anyone taking part in this? I registered not too long ago. I think they have over 1000 riders now, more than half of the riders that they can accomodate I think.

They also have a Facebook page and a Twitter account. Looking forward to this!

I am doing it.
Registered a couple of weeks ago.
I'm coming down from Kelowna, with the girls. They are going to make a weekend out of it, I'm going to ride my bike.
Get together with some friends that live in Vancouver, one from Seattle - figure we'll set up a Pegoretti paceline.

I was fortunate to do the test ride for this event last summer. Awesome. I'm the guy in blue at the back in this picture. This is close to the beginning, just as you go up a hill to the bridge that takes you to the North Shore. Took me just under 5 hours for 120K. Elevation ridden close to 2000 metres (6500 ft)

Cool. I can't wait for September. I'll be taking much longer than 5 hours but it'll be a blast!
