The "I Survived Winter" Party (Edmonton)

I am thinking that we were all too busy riding and trying to stay warm to have those support meetings this winter unless you count Saturday afternoons at the co-op as being meetings.

Thinking a little get together is in order but am I speaking too soon ?

Does mother nature still have a card up her sleeve ?

Figure any meeting has to involve a little pre-ride action as to help us work up an appetite and a thirst.

Yep... it's snowing.

We could still get buried in a few more feet of the stuff and I am not taking the studs off yet.

If I did that we'd get epic blizzards for sure.

I dunno if I'm invited anymore, after never missing a day all winter I wussed out twice this week. But I'll blame work as much as the weather, I've been super busy (working 6 to 6 everyday). And the fact that I have to change over equipment from the summer bike to the winter bike. Gotta work on that so there's no change over.

This will teach me for taking the studded tyre off the extrabike... will throw caution to the wind and ride studless today although that SUV of mine has never been a skiddy machine.

Just did a bunch of springtime upgrades too... new old rear d, new sexier stem, flipped the bars to get more aero.

Should be fun racing through this later and we are gonna have to hold off on the party a while longer.
