Favourite LBS for C&V bikes in Vancouver?

Hello,

Newbie here, new to the forum & biking community, C&V in particular. I recently acquired a vintage Raleigh (1969/70?) and it needs some adjustments, like fixing the back caliper brakes, and replacing brake pads and saddle. Although I understand these kinds of fixes can be done at regular bike shops, I was wondering if there was one place in Vancouver that was good at working with old bikes and carried components/parts? (ie. Kool Stop salmon brake pads?) I'd like to take my bike into one store and have everything fixed instead of going store to store with the bike until I find a place that can service it properly.

Really appreciate any feedback or advice, cheers

I've only ever window shopped at The World Cycles, so I don't have an opinion on their service. When I stopped by it looked like they specialize in old stuff.

New West Cycle deals in a lot of old used bikes too, and I am super happy with their service.

Second vote for New West Cycles. The guys there have a very good knowledge of classic road and vintage bikes.
