There are two Saskatoon threads going, Winter Cycling In Saskatoon, and Spring Summer Cycling in Saskatoon. Neither is very busy, but people check in from time to time.

Maybe we should have a Pothole Of The Year award. Post a picture of your favorite pothole, with a tape measure in the shot to designate width, breadth, and depth. The winner gets a patch kit containing self-adhesive patches!

Dunno who's biking in stoon at the moment but I got the cycling bug. Like hell I'm biking tho, stoon drivers are already deadly as hell and its a lil icy with the recent meltyness...however, plotting out some rebuild/upgrade before I decide to bust out the bicycle full time, and I mite even test the waters and remind my legs what a bike is thiss weekend just for ish n giggles...

I'm thinking I'll join the S'toon winter cycling crew a bit late in the game this year. I had been driving to and from work... but then I ran the numbers and realized that I was spending in excess of $40/week on gas (my car is being such a pig on gas right now... it's pretty ridiculous). At my current meager income, I cannot afford to continue to do this. So, I'm going to give it a whirl... again... The main reason I had been avoiding it (other than laziness) was that my lungs don't get along with cold air. So, I'm going to try a balaclava/scarf mix (and put my glasses away so fog isn't an issue) and see if that helps. Wish me luck!

no surprise colder weather is getting closer, so id like to do a group ride.

im building a vintage ride at the moment aswell, so im usually down for beer and bicycles

I posted this thread on Clydes and Athenas a few weeks back. It shows some of the huge number of statues to be seen when riding around Saskatoon.
