Anyone worn Levi's Women's Skinny Commuter Pants?--and looking for other skinny pants

I'm looking for a pair of ultra-skinny winter/wet-weather cycling pants. The only ones I've found that seem to be as skinny as I wear them are the levi's womens commuter pants. I was wondering if anyone has worn them and can tell me how they fit, if they're comfy, and if they are as resistant to wet, wind, and cold as the 511 Slim Fit Commuter pants for men?

Also: Do they do that annoying nonsense where desingers think that women don't put stuff in their pockets and therefore the pockets should be like a quarter of the depth of normal friggin' pockets?

If anyone can point more towards other brands of skinny cycling pants, I'd appreciate it. I've only found slim fit men's pants, which are NOT the same and have a crotch that seat way too damn low for my tastes.

Yes, I care a very great deal about how my pants fit. lol

These are the women's, in case anyone was curious:

They're on sale at REI for like 30 bucks off:

If women put things in their pockets, it would make it difficult for men to oggle at their, well, uh, never mind.

Given that this is the Winter Cycling forum, skinny pants would make it difficult to put on layers, underneath that is. There's nothing wrong with skinny commuter pants (if you have the shape for them) but I question as to their value during winter.

Big question is where the OP lives. If they live in Arizona or California, they might work well for winter biking. I assume since they're asking that they don't live in Minnesota...

Looked at wind proof bike tights? They make all kinds. Also running and cross country skiing stuff as well. Seems wet weather stuff would be a different category.

Actually...I've worn skinny pants with long underwear for a good number of years. Usually there's enough stretch for one base layer, and those pants that fit just a little big and funky work well with two decent base layers (so long as you're not going for crop tops, since the band is often above the waist.)

I'd be more concerned with the fabric content, depending on the winter conditions. In my experience, denim and thick cotton pants get cold and stay cold, whereas polyester has been a bit more cold-weather friendly. By "cold-weather", I mean somewhere around 15F and down.

There's also the oldschool way to make waterproof commuter pants: buy some cheap jeans from H&M and Scotchgard the heck outta them.

Bikes: Co-Motion Cappuccino Tandem,'88 Bob Jackson Touring, Co-Motion Cascadia Touring, Open U.P., Ritchie Titanium Breakaway, Frances Cycles SmallHaul cargo bike. Those are the permanent ones; others wander in and out of the stable occasionally as well.

This is from the description you posted if that helps address the water repellency and pocket questions:

Levi'sŪ Commuter™ collection delivers stylish, performance-driven products for the modern urban cyclist. The Levi'sŪ Commuter™ Skinny Jeans features strong, stretch fabric, water repellency, reflective details, deeper front and back pockets and a higher back rise for coverage while riding.
